Vtunnel - Plug it in and it works!

Vtunnel is a secure point-to-point VPN between the ENS and SAM. It provides secure access for customers that don't want you on their network!
It does not require any modifications to the firewall. Simply Open Port 5001, Start the ENS & it will get an IP address. Then the ENS contacts SAM in the NOC by establishing the secure tunnel. SAM and the ENS will communicate bi-directionally through the secure connection created by the tunnel. All communications between SAM and the ENS use the tunnel and all traffic is compressed and secured with 128-bit Blowfish encryption.

Alarm Monitoring

· Centralized Alarm Monitoring – SAM software provides centralized alarm monitoring and notification to make sure alarms are identified, immediately captured and acted upon appropriately.
· Automated Problem Resolution - Continuously monitor the console ports of the managed equipment and search for key words or phrases that will initiate an automated response. Responses range from sending an email or pager notification to taking a proactive response to correcting the issue by rebooting the equipment or turning the power off with an intelligent power strip. Our solutions give the user the ability to define the actions required and solve problems automatically, before they become an issue.

· External alarms – Support for external environmental alarms such as temperature, smoke, humidity, etc. is provided.
· Continuous Validation of Connectivity – The ENS solution insures that equipment is always available for remote access both in and out-of-band or, if there is a problem, proactive notification is delivered prior to your team finding out there is problem while attempting to access a customer location to solve a critical issue.
· Dial-up back – Dial-up connectivity is provided to reroute alarm reporting around network outages to insure continuous monitoring.
